BIOGRAPHY:

Maggie was born in London Ontario and began dancing ballet at the age of 5. She moved to Barrie at age 10 and started competitive dance in the styles of ballet, jazz, muscle theatre and tap. Maggie worked as a teacher's assistant for several years before attending teacher training with Dance Masters of America.

Maggie attended the University of Western Ontario where she completed her Bachelor's of Medical Science and then her Bachelor's of Education in Math and Chemistry. In her time at UWO she was a member of UWO Dance Force and taught jazz for several years at a local studio. She attended York University for a summer to obtain her qualification for teaching dance in high school. She currently teaches math at a London high school.

Maggie has danced at ONE since 2014 and has now performed in 4 showcases. She was a member of the Advanced Elements contemporary team in 2023. She has been a faculty member since 2018 and is grateful for the opportunity to express her creativity and share her love for dance with others. Maggie is passionate about making ballet accessible and fun for all, and she is always happy to meet new people who are willing to try something new!
